3887 Wheats Valley

Overview

You know when you go on vacation and sit on the deck reading a book, looking over the treetops and the pond stocked with bass and it has a little dock you sit on, do a little catch and release, and then you walk out in the woods and sit by the creek and then get hungry and decide to have some fruit (apple, pear, peach or cherry) out of the little orchard and then decide to have a nap? Why wait for vacation? You can have it all here. Nestled in the middle of 27 acres in glorious Wheats Valley, this custom home was built for continual pleasure and serenity. Built with both large rooms to entertain and cozy rooms to hide away, this is your mecca. The main level has hardwood floors and Saltillo tiles - handmade Mexican tiles - through the foyer (upper and lower) and powder room. Gorgeous blue sapphire tile in baths and kitchen make you feel like royalty. Antique details from a now no longer home on East Main Street, downtown Bedford, include the stair baluster, newel posts and caps
