619 North

Overview

Incredible home. This property has been completely restored in a most puritan fashion. The floor plan has remained intact; original plate shelving remains around the circumference of the dining room. But what's new? Plumbing, electrical, refinished floors, new wainscoting and hand-built shadowboxes, roof, insulation throughout. Every window has been removed from the house and re-corded and painted. Brand new bathrooms and kitchen. Main level bath has over 2000 hand laid tiles. Once a part of the side porch, the roof line has been lifted and the bath is new from the studs up. Tiled mud/laundry room. New paver stone driveway and sidewalk. New storage building. Walking distance to downtown and the Loop, privacy is still available on this large lot due to the tasteful and extensive landscaping and privacy fencing. This home recently appeared in a recent edition of This Old House and has been asked to be on the Bedford Garden Club's 2012 Christmas Home Tour. Need we say more?
